Trash – What goes where.

When you are headed to the trash yard there are some things to keep in mind.  We have recycling, household trash, leaves, and bulk trash.  Please keep things in their proper place.  When things go in the wrong containers we (the campground) get charged for having to dump them early, or worse…fined.  Here is a quick chart on what goes where.

Leaf Dumpster Any leaves from your site that you bring to the trash yard.
Recycling (Cardboard) Cardboard and paper products
Recycling (Co-Mingled) Bottles and Cans (Glass, Aluminum, Plastic)
Compactor (Household Trash) Household Garbage, trash bags full of household waste.  NO Contruction or large items.
Bulk Trash Dumpster Large Items.  Things bigger than a typical kitchen sized garbage bag.  Old boogie boards, beach chairs, etc.

May Owner’s Meeting

In order to maximize attendance the May owner’s meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, May 25th at 10:00 AM in the Pole Barn. Hope to see you all there!

Condo Fee Collections

This is just a reminder that the date for condo fees being paid in full was March 1st.  Any account not paid in full is subject to a $100 late fee if any checks are received with payment postmarked after this week’s date, unless they contact the board for payment arrangements.

Events Posted

Hi Seashore Line Family!  The full (but tentative) Seashore line 2013 schedule is available.  This year will be filled with a lot of new and exciting events as well as all of the classic events we have come to know and love.  As always these events will not be possible without volunteers to help organize and run them.  If you can spare some time to give us some assistance please email events@seashorelinecr.com and let us know what and when you can help out.

The event schedule can be viewed in 2 places, but are identical.  You can see the events here on our website by clicking this link:

http://www.seashorelinecr.com/index.php/calendar

Or you can go to our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/SeashoreLine and click on the event link there.

One calendar to rule them all!

There are a few places to see what is going on at Seashore Line, and this has caused some confusion as to event dates.  I’ve consolidated all of the events so that if an event is added to Facebook, it shows up on the website and vice versa.  Right now I have added through the month of May, and will slowly add the rest of the events over the next couple of days.  Check back often to see what is going on this year at Seashore Line!

Vacation Home Insurance

As many people have been asking me about insurance for their vacation home at Seashore Line and have been mentioning the difficulty in finding appropriate coverage for their homes and golf carts I have been doing a good deal of research into finding someone who has the coverage options we as owners need.  I have now been in contact with an insurance broker who can help those who need coverage find a policy that fits them that is licensed in PA, NJ, DE and MD .  Since this is a very tailor made and specific thing owner by owner, here is the contact info of the insurance company so you can contact them directly.  Please make sure that you mention you are from Seashore Line as he already has our background information and is familiar with our situation.  You can reach him at the following:

Gate Card Registration

After doing an audit of the security card system it has come to our attention that over the course of the years there were some cards that were not associated with sites.  To ensure the security of the park we require that all gate cards be associated with a site number.   Joe has gone through and updated a bunch of the cards already, however there are still some outstanding.  Sometime during the season (it will definitely be announced as to when this will happen with plenty of head’s up time) we will deactivate any unregistered card.  Please contact Joe Simpson with your current card information to make sure your gate card is registered, either by email (Joesjr68@aol.com) or getting a hold of him in the park.

Water turn on data and leaf collection

Hello Seashore Line Family!

As we endure the winter chill here is something that will hopefully bring some warmth to everyone.  The park will have the water turned on, on Friday, March 29th (weather permitting).  We have also posted the leaf collection schedule which begins on April 5th.  You can see the full schedule here.  Spring is right around the corner!

All roads lead to Seashore Line

The front entrance roadwork went very well.  I think it is a vast improvement in not only appearance but functionality as well.  The area has been widened and improves visibility to oncoming traffic, eliminates the water pooling and runoff problems that we had in the front, and gives ample room to turn in and out of the park. Electricity has been brought up to the entrance to provide light to our sign and brighten up the roadway at night.

Rebirth of the Game Room

Joe and Gene have been hard at work revamping the game room.  I don’t want to spoil the surprise but there will be a lot of new and fun things to do with a whole new look and feel when the park opens up again in April.  Here is a sneak peak of the now empty game room with the start of its facelift.
